It seems all systems are under threat of a new more evil system. The original poster is rallying all support to take on this new threat. quote:

I was playing Rogue Squadron on a GC display booth in Target today. Some guy behind me said to his girlfriend: "It's a shame it doesn't have DVD playback." Gamecube is screwed!!!!1111!!!!!1!1!11!!!!1

Anyway back to the topic, I argue that to me, Gamecube doesn't have any good games, there's nothing on that platform that I like. Believe it or not, I don't like Mario or Zelda and I never have and I doubt I ever will. Nintendo lost me in the 64 era, I had my SNES for killer instinct but then I get bored every generation with a new rehash of mario and zelda it just doesn't do anything for me. Sega, I love their games and they are always putting new stuff out, I'm over Sonic games just like the nintendo ones, there comes a time when games should be put on the shelf and new ones should have sequels instead. Sony, had me in the playstation era, but I find if they can treat their consumer's with contempt and rush a system out they don't deserve my respect anymore. The graphics in most games are shocking and not what I would expect. My Dreamcast kept me happy until I bought my X-Box. The Box has the killer games I like, the games that I like someone else mightn't but the Box has a large range of games coming and most of them are decent. People argue because they can, most arguements here are over technical stuff like jaggies etc, 3-D rims. We generally all own most or several of the systems. There's a few of us who are system specific to the max, but you expect that and live with it. I'll admit now the box is my favourite out of all of the new ones purely for the games available and the fact I like sports games and it can make them look the most realistic to me, which is a massive +.
