Hey Ants. In my opinion you just ruined your chance of ever becoming a mod because of all this jealous whinging we are all hearing. Yeah you did some cool stuff, well done, but you should grow up and realise that you are not going un-noticed, it's all a matter of patience. I think a big hooray should be cast GreyWizzard's way. I haven't actually seen him loose his temper yet, he is always cool and he posts here often. Congrats dood! And a little question: why the hell is the PC Forum so dead!? Come on guys get your asses in there!! ------------------

I know you are the same age and go to the same school as Spoonfan but if I had never been told that I would have thought he was in his 20's and you were 13. Yes 13, no jokes this time, you act like you're 13 and this obvious jealously and public display of disappointment could only come from someone without experience. Hell I'd love to be a mod too but I have already got way too many responsibilities in my life and wouldn't do it. (Thanks PlayNOW! editor for the email but I just don't have the time at the moment) It's a maturity thing.
It's a responsibility thing.
It's a trust thing. Each mod already has those qualities (some more than others) and would never abuse it. I think everyone fears that it may go to your head and you would edit anything that you don't even slightly like.
You seem like a nice person and all and yes your work in the Entertainment forum is being appreciated, why would you want more? The only real answer would be power (well, supposed power anyway). My pet hate already with using mods from the community (no offence guys I love yooz all) is if I want to post something abusive with another alias but I know that the person I am flaming is a friend of the mod, I am reluctant to, as I know they can check IP addresses easily and possibly expose my handywork. Personally I would have left the moderating side of things to the staff of PlayNOW! (but obviously they don't have the time and have had to give it back to the community). So when choosing the best members of the community I think PNE! and the gang have picked a pretty good bunch. My votes for next mod would go to (drum role please): Peppermint Lounge

 At first I thought it was my craputer, but now I think Geocities is shitting me around with image hosting... I think. Images only load for me some of the time. Well Power if they are meant to be red crosses than yes, if not no.......What powers does a mod anyway?!? Delete posts, edit topics....thats it, isn't it...or is there more I'm missing out on, like huge parties etc. I think we should all be thankful. PNE! has given us things that mods on other forums would not. Spoony has his Babe forum, and Ants got his Movies forum. Isn't that enough?!? At least you got something, over at the OFDWF you don't get priviliges like these, so yeh, be happy with what you have ------------------

Couldn't be stuffed reading this whole thread, so my apologies if this has all been said, BUT:Why the hell do you need so many mods???!!!11!1 This just worries me. One of the best things about PlayNOW has always been the absence of heavy moderation. I remember when Malby finally got nasty after about 17 pages of why Sony will continue to dominate, told everyone that the thread would be locked, and then (to my knowledge) simply forgot to come back and do so. Now that's moderation! Even the presence of so many people with a little "Moderator" under their name makes me feel...um, all sexually discriminated against. Congrats to Grey of course, but NO MORE!

Apart from this topic, I have been mature. This is just one insignifigant outburst. The fact that I went off at Candy was the fact that I was in a bad mood at the time and I have already apologised for that. Just taking Candy Arse's jokes seriously does not mean I'm not mature. Sheesh, if thats the way it happened then almost nobody would be mature. Sure all the people on your above list are deserving and I'd be happy to see them become moderators but the fact of the matter is that I also want to be a moderator of a forum I have had a lot of input in. Now, I know this may not happen but it'd be a nice extra. The Ant Farm is da bomb anyhoo! ------------------
