Having failed in his quest to convert the PlayNOW forum to the joys of 50 Hz gaming, Nathan has gone to the Edge forum in his quest. As this guy says... quote:

Good gawd he is a psycho.Most of the things he talks about are a problem with his TV, and the colour thing is just wierd as the DC outputs PAL 60 not NTSC The resolution drop is minimal, it is visible, but a drop in resolution does not increase jaggies. With the kind of arguments Nathan is putting forward in his PAL vs NTSC issue I reckon he must actually be kingcaleb and clearly the reason most of us have differing views than him on this subject is due to the cocktail effect and stupid Sydney Uni psychology students!

LOL. Do you even know what 'jaggies' are? No? I'll tell you.
They are pixels palin and simple. Just pixels that stand out from their surronding pixels. The bigger these pixels are the more noticeable jaggies become.

Obviously, Nathan, the solution is to buy a smaller TV, reducing pixel size and eliminating jaggies.

I thought they where trying to argue that you dont get NTSC/PAL colour when useing RGB cables..Wtf is up with that? Is it right? BTW I meant THAT (IE PAL 50hz-60hz) drop in resolution wouldnt creat more visible jaggies. [This message has been edited by Sonic_Jam (edited 29-11-2001).]

That's crap! Lol! If it's an NTCS DVD and you try and play it on a PAL only TV it doesn't matter if you syphon the damn signal into the TV through a garden hose it's still not gonna work! Lol lol lol... Dildo!
