I've got a question for you. Is there any PS2 game you've played where you've actually gone "Wow!! What a great game!" or "Wow! What great graphics!!"?Or do you just hate 'em all? I started a thread cos I've already asked you twice and you've ignored (or not seen) both posts.

Even though the question is not directed to me, I'd like to answer from my perspective. I was really hard on the PS2. I didn't like it at all, and no games impressed me, even GT3 (and I am a massive fan of the original).
The day I saw and played GTA3, everything changed. It truely was the first time I wished I owned a PS2.

Well with ps2 I've never been Wowed with visuals, there has always been something with the visuals on ps2 games that jacked it up, whether it be excessive shimmering/jaggies or crappy poor coloured textures. But I have enjoyed many ps2 games for the gameplay.Games on ps2 that I enjoy. Time Crisis 2, lots of fun especially akimbo mode!
RRV, besides the shimmering and jaggies it's still got the old RRV power sliding which I enjoyed for a while.
VF4, the best fighter on the ps2!
GTA3, self explanatory.
Gauntlet Dark legacy, excellent port!
Maximo, I'm a sucker for GnG!
Dynasty Warriors 2/3, crappy fog but the mindless hack slashing and racking up 800+ kills is fun at times.
Fifa 2002, the latest in the series is pretty good.
Smackdown 3, I've always been a fan of the smackdown series, they have the best gameplay I reckon.
Nba Street, it's quite a fun bball, although it can get old quickly

Uh huh and you have taste? Fifa 2002 is a piece of crap...you can't compare it to PES..As for Smackdown 3......gawd biggest hyped wrestling game for 2001 and well apart from (what a lot of ppl are saying) The X-box Raw version is the worst Wrestling game for 2002

If you like 3D wrestling games, you can't look past the Giant Gram games on Dreamcast. Fark those games are good.

I can't believe I didn't notice this. They'll make the top 4 and probably cruise to the Grand Final where they will crush the Broncos by at least 40, and I will be very happy for it.
