hi all
i bought my dreamcast on febuary of this year
ive bouhgt and extensive collection of games and i wanted to learn how to back them up
my games are very old such as blue stinger to very new like phantasy star online

i read that dreamcast consoles were piracy proof after november 2000, has anyone backed up games and used them on the newer machines and if not is there a way around this so i can play backed up games

no need to get harsh on him, he isn't doing it for gain, he just had the intensions of keeping his collection safe..

Sorry man, I believe it is still illegal and due to the different format of disks u can't do it anyway.

I've done some checking and I believe it is legal to own a copied version of a game providing you have an original or proof of original purchase. I'm not condoning this practise but if you pay$100.00 for a game and it gets scratched thats a big spin out!
