Just a few questions for any potential experts on the greatest Dreamcast Game ever made.

1. What is wrong with my copy of SFA3? On random occasions the load times lengthen and the music stutters, until eventually at the end of a bout you get: "Disc Read Error".
I have never had any graphical glitches, just freezing at load screens and stuffed up music? I don't think it's my Dreamcast as it runs my other 32 games without a hitch (with the possible exception of crazy taxi). All my games are genuine, I have never had my Dreamcast modded or messed about with, and "Disc Read Error" is a foreign term. Anyone else have problems with this game?

2. Streetfighter Alpha 3 has a fatal flaw. Yes there are dozens of characters, but for any given character you choose, the characters you fight in the single player game are extremely limited. What is all that about? Why have I never NEVER fought FeiLong or Guile in almost a year of playing, but I fight Zangief on a regular basis?

3. Unrelated to Streetfighter Alpha 3 - but if you're a nostalgia buff or serious collector, I have a collection on offer you might be interested in.
It includes:

Atari 2600 + 30 games cartidges, most with boxes and manuals + the actual system box from 1979! (With a Grace Bros price tag of $200)

Sega Megadrive + 15 games, ALL with boxes and manuals + 2 controllers and 1 SEGA arcade stick

SNES + 21 games, ALL with boxes and manuals and maps (Secret of Mana & Zelda), 2 controllers, 1 Nintendo Joystick, 1 3rd Party joystick

I'm not so sure about my Saturn as I still play Bomberman from time to time, but if you're interested:

Sega Saturn + 20 Original Games, ALL with boxes and manuals, 2 regular controllers, 1 Nights controller, and a multitap.

Basically make me an offer if you're interested. Please don't annoy me by saying "I'll take Secret of Mana for $20 and leave the rest" etc. I wasn't born yesterday. This is a massive, immaculate collection, and I don't buy rubbish games. Expect only the best games for each system. eg. Miss Pacmen for Atari 2600, Streets of Rage's and Sonic for Megadrive, and Metroid, DKcountry, and 3 versions of Streetfighter and 3 versions of Mortal Kombat for Snes.

2. Yeah i Know, I so wanna fight the old Super SF characthers like T.Hawk and fei long but all i get are the same ones over and over. The arcade or original survvival modes are the only way i get 2 play them.

Yes it's all true, the DC plays DVDs and if you hook it up to a quality sound system like the PSX and bum some speakers from the stereo system of a dumped car you'll have a home theatre package that rivals $4000 systems! I suggest you talk to kingcaleb if you need anymore details, you can find him at Sydney Uni, he's the one sitting up the back of the psychology lectures constantly yelling out "pfft, yeah right, what would you know ********"!

There is 3 main sizes...

1) CinemaScope - 1.66:1 ratio (which is what Robo Criterion is in, WITHOUT anamorphic)

2) 16:9 - What CinemaScope becomes, AFTER anamorphic enhancment. Smaller black bars on a 4:3 ratio television.

3) 4:3 - Standard commercial television viewing size.

You DO realise that even WITHOUT a widescreen 16:9 television, anamorphic enhancment still reduces the size of the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. Thus, I think standard CinemaScope on a 4:3 ratio telly is TOO small, where as I like Anamorphic enhancment on a 4:3 telly, as it becomes 16:9 ratio.

That being said, anamorphic enhancment on an ALREADY 16:9 ratio movie, stretches it onto 4:3 ratio, taking up ALL space on standard televisions. Eg. RoboCop 3.

Are you seriously saying you'd rather stretch your picture to fill the screen? You're not supposed to do that.

What you're talking about is a serious distortion of the picture. If you're going to run anamorphic coded transfers without compressing the picture for a 4:3 screen, you're doing it wrong. Just like 99% of electronic shops run by stupid people.
