This entire argument started at about 10pm last night.. and finished in style at about 8ish when unfnk set up an emergency IRC Survivor.

There are some highlights.

Sanatan and Syama are two incredibly hospitable and nice people, and to judge them based on their decision to not eat meat is stupid.

Aside from the allergic side, the observant of the following religions have the following dietary regulations:

Judaism: Kosher, may not eat animals such as pigs, rabbits, prawns etc.

Islam: May not eat pigs.

Hinduism & Buddhism: Should abstain from eating all living animals.

Catholicism: On Friday, the only animal allowed to be eaten is fish.

I have mates belonging to all of the above religions, and being the respectful person I am, I respect their beliefs and decisions.

I know a fair few athiests as well. With a little something called sense, we all get along.

Syama and Sanatan did not try to push their beliefs on anyone, they simply stated that they do not allow meat to be prepared in their kitchen.

'When in Rome, do as the Romans do' goes the old saying. I don't bring meat to Sanatan's, and I don't eat steak when I go to Scott's house on Friday, just as when people visit my house, they leave their ham at home.

It happened to me with ham at school last year. They saw fit to throw ham at me while I was eating. I thought it justice to throw my food in the garden and proceed to beat the living shit out of them, and so I did.

Hello? Reality check!! No one is disputing this.. I wouldnt give two shits if they prepare virgins for eating in their kitchen (stay away Migushi)...
