Errr.. how is this an attack on Multiculturalism?! I haven't seen any ethnic slurs...yet

Anyway, I buy a console on the basis it provides me with the best visual and audio experience. It should also have the titles I am looking for. One reason why I skipped buying the PS2 was its hype. I followed the developement of this console from day one and had great hopes for it. When the president of Sony claimed it could do "Toy Story" like visuals, I actually believed it

When it was released I saw all of its titles sub-par to the Dreamcast games. Sure, it was better than PS1 but to tout it as a true revolution in immersion was way out of line! The PS2 has great games, but its not the next-gen machine it claimed. Even PC titles look better than it. Xbox on the other hand...take a gander at Halo, Ralli Sport and DOA3. Amazing...and keep in mind Xbox is still in its first-gen mode.

I have great hopes for the Xbox, despite the fact the "ignorant" casual gamer is content with the PS2's sub-par graphics. They rather place faith in the title "PlayStation X" and take the crud a Japanese company packages it for them. In this respect both the GC and Xbox both trounce it.

Syama - Peer pressure is also a huge weight in who buys what console. If your friend at playnow has a PS2, then you are more likely to buy a PS2...regardless of its quality. Its called mob behaviour.

I'm not baiting anybody. I think that the way he writes his name at the bottom of each post and then continues with the post is completely retarded.

Claiming that I'm a racist is equally retarded.

Basically, I think msyama has a kind of a paranoid schizophrenic thing going on, with a twist of low self-esteem thrown in just so he thinks everything is an ethnic based attack.

If he stopped and thought about it logically he'd realise that (considering all I can see is his typing) I have NO idea what nationality he is, and he could be 20th generation Australian for all I know.

I also put some of the blame for his slightly crazy and irrational behaviour on the fact that he doesn't eat meat.

Most vegetarians go crazy after a while. They all end up half-naked with filth-encrusted hair and bad BO hanging around outside refugee camps helping the detainees escape and doing other crazy things like that. You can't trust them. They're shifty and unpredictable and they SNAP at the slightest provocation.

Oops, there I go again with the ethnic slurs.
