- I don't like the fact that it allows people to have images the size of a small car in their signatures.
- The smilies seem 'messy' and disorganised because they're not of uniform shape, and generally make posts annoying to read. The Spam one is particularly visually offensive, and is used left right and centre. Yeah, it was funny the first 50 times...
- There's no stock-standard entry-level happy smiley face. The bugging out of the eyes implies excitement. What are we supposed to do if we're simply content, or wish to portray kindness? Use actual language? Pfft.
- The Moderators seem to be on steroids or something. Fair enough, a forum needs moderating, but it's fast becoming very anal (particularly the whole importing thing). A thread I was reading last night has mysteriously vanished. There wasn't anything even vaguely worthy of deletion when I last checked, why couldn't just the offending post be deleted, rather than the entire thread? Reminds me very much of the ODWF's early days... Every second thread was moved, and it just seemed stupid.
- The Help Forum is a flawed concept in my opinion. If you require help with, say, a PS2 game (how do I make the jaggies stop?) I think it makes more sense to post it in the PS2 forum. That way, everyone reading the forum (ie PS2 enthusiasts) will see it, and someone will more than likely know the answer. I wouldn't expect many people to actually bother checking a seperate forum just so they have a chance of being able to help someone. I know I don't check it.
- There needs to be a Trading Forum. The very notion that it'd noticably detract from current sales is ridiculous. It's bad enough that the ODWF trading forum was unceremoniously closed without any warning, screwing over a number of trades, but to then not provide somewhere for said trading to continue seems heartless. Hey, that'd work in well with the Help Forum getting the proposed heave-ho, wouldn't it? And yes, I know this has been addressed in another thread. Bite me.
- No more apples in the vending machine please.
