Yes, I totally agree with you DJ, That was probably one of the worst TV for games I have ever seen, and it was on SCART.. The image looked like absolute shit.
Here are the functions of the Philips TV in question
1. Accepts RGB input
2. Has motion compensation circuity (Digital Natural Motion)
3. Has line doubling to create 1250 lines
4. Use 10Bit colour digitising for 100hz/1220hz display
Now, the TV you have supports None of these features, yet you claim that the TV above has an image that looks like shit.
Keep dreaming.

My 80cm Pana Progressive TV kicks arse... Two people who have seen it now have bought one... For gaming its the best. I wouldnt recommend the 68cm version of the Pana though because from the ones have seen look flawed. Bad interlaced gaming image, bad VGA geometry, and the progressive doesnt look half as good as the 80cm , Must be a fault in the smaller tube.
You're rambling on like an idiot here.
Let me see, your 80cm TV has superior image quality to the same model in 68cm?
I've inspected the 80cm unit and is has poor geometry, very low dot pitch for clairty, an extremely poor VGA image when viewed closely (try hooking a PC up to it) and its ability to display NTSC video images is incredibly poor.
Mind you, the 68cm has similar problems, but it has better dot pitch and a far better VGA image as a result.
